HOTEL DESCRIPTION: In the early 1950s, Aspen Institute founder, Walter Paepcke, commissioned the renowned Bauhaus architect and artist, Herbert Bayer, to give shape to an idea. It was Paepcke's vision to transform forty acres of farmland into a secluded destination where business executives and other leaders could take a step back from their hurried lives and careers to speak candidly and reflect upon a variety of important issues they faced - uninterrupted and amidst the Aspen landscape. Building upon this vision, Bayer sought to create a unified environment - a place where the spirit could be moved by Aspen's natural setting, the mind could thrive and art could serve both aesthetic and functional purposes. The Bauhaus school believed that environment, culture and community should not merely exist alongside each other: but, in the ideal setting, these aspects should be integrated and intertwined.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Modern Bauhaus furnishings and plenty of natural light give each of our spacious guest suites an open elegance. Floor to ceiling windows and complimentary High Speed WiFi and provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind or prepare for an upcoming event. Inspiring views of the mountains and the Roaring Fork River are just some of the pleasures found in each guest suite at Aspen Meadows Resort. Junior Suite
The Junior Suite is 550 to 600 square feet with either 1 king or 2 queen beds. These Suites have their own private patio or balcony. Junior Suites have a combination bath/shower.

1 Bedroom Suite
Our Deluxe 1 Bedroom Suite is 700 to 750 square feet with 1 king bed, a separate living room and the bathroom has a shower. These suites have either a private patio or balcony. The views are either river-courtyard, or courtyard-mountain.

2 Bedroom Suite 
Our 2 Bedroom Suite is 1,200 square feet with 1 king bedroom and 1 queen bedroom and a separate living room. The first bathroom has a bath/shower combination and the second bathroom has a shower. These also have either a private patio or balcony and have spectacular views.
