The Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters reflects the diverse architectural landscape of its surrounding community. In 2004 the Beacon Hotel was expanded and recreated with a new contemporary design combining cosmopolitan style with an urban appeal and a touch of tradition for good measure. Rich exotic woods, marble, and stainless steel finishes augment the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and inviting alcoves to create a seductive elegance throughout the hotel. The newly added upscale turret suites featuring rounded bedrooms, as well as New York-inspired studio suites were part of the recreation.

HOTEL FACILITIES: THE BEACON BAR & GRILL: The slightly retro-modern BB&G (Beacon Bar & Grill) was designed by renowned Washington, DC based designer-architect, Walter Gagliano. The restaurant successfully combines a festive, high energy two story high lounge, an open air patio, as well as an elegant dining room reminiscent of a 1930's ocean liner providing a sense of upscale casual dining with private rooms for up to 60 people are also part of the offering. A fusion of separate and distinctive ambient experiences compliment the hotel guest experience and serve their various dining and entertainment needs. One of the summer’s seasonal attractions available at the Beacon Bar & Grill is it popular roof-top Beacon's Sky Bar. This popular alfresco cocktail lounge features spectacular views of the Dupont Circle neighborhood, Embassy Row and expanses of the city skyline in the heart of Washington, DC. The lounge features creative and unique martinis and cocktails with innovative light fare. There is a sense of exclusivity to the venue as guest must access the Sky Bar with a special elevator key. Open Wednesdays to Saturdays, this rooftop haven is a neighborhood favorite, adding local flavor to our guest experience.

Beacon Bar & Grill provides the cuisine for private dining rooms for up to 100 people for a sit down dinner or as many as 250 for a reception. These rooms feature large windows. Smaller rooms for more intimate banquets from 10 to 75 are also available. Our Chef will customize a menu, or you may select from a broad array of offerings in our banquet menu.

Contemporary and urban, BB&G is designed to complement the lifestyles of our dining guests by providing multiple atmospheres for private events to choose from, select from elegant wood paneled rooms decorated with hand blown crystal, reminiscent of a ship, or rooms with exterior views and or your own private tented patio or perhaps a private intimate penthouse with your own roof top. Chef Dylyn Coolidge presents contemporary, innovative cuisine by updating traditional favorites in surprising and comforting ways. Select from ample menu choices and or seasonal selections to suit varying budgets and tastes available particularly for your holiday celebrations. Select a 2 hour all inclusive Happy Hour office celebration, to a more elaborate menu with multiple courses and a great selection of affordable boutique wines, or have our chef create a buffet reception that is a an international tour de force. Capacity to accommodate groups of 20 to 250 people when using the entire facility.
