HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Standard Rooms curly Our Standard rooms feature the option of either one king bed or two queen beds. Both featuring new Serta SleepDream mattresses. These rooms have a tropical decor of antiqued, ivory-colored furnishings including desk and an upholstered reading chair. Free local and toll-free calls. Multi-line phone and complimentary wireless internet access, iPod/MP3 docking station as well as cable TV with premium channels and daily maid service. Turn down service is available upon request. These rooms also feature a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a tile bathroom with shower/tub combination. In order to conserve paper and help the environment complimentary newspapers can be found in the lobby. These rooms have been recently refreshed with new paint and carpet as well as handmade draperies and bedcovers.

Deluxe Rooms We are very proud to unveil our newly designed Deluxe accommodations featuring only the highest quality materials and offering a unique blend of elegant surroundings with the serenity of our waterfront resort. These luxurious accommodations are the finest Charleston has to offer! These rooms feature nautical themed style furnishings and décor with handmade draperies and bedspreads, a 37 inch flat screen television, plush logo terrycloth robes, a full size desk as well as twice daily maid service. There are also hand painted murals throughout, as well as vignettes on the ceiling, deep crown molding and a ceiling fan. All bathrooms have been completely refurbished and feature designer amenities and whirlpool bathtubs.

King Studio Suite These very large corner rooms feature a full sofa and sitting area within the guest room. The bathroom has a separate shower and tub with views looking over the Cooper River. The oversized full balcony has comfortable seating and a 180-degree view of the harbor, Cooper River as well as the historic downtown skyline.

Deluxe Fort Sumter Suite curly This full corner suite features a completely separate living room and king sized bedroom. There is a half bathroom for your guest in the living room and a full sized bathroom privately located off the bedroom. This suite features premier views of the harbor and historic Fort Sumter as well as the downtown skyline. These rooms have been fully upgraded to our deluxe status and feature the same yellow and blue theme as our deluxe king rooms as well as the addition of a virtual fireplace, deep crown molding and ceiling fans. Admiral Suite curlyThe Admiral Suite features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The nautical theme is carried through this suite with water views out of three sides. The oversized corner master bedroom features a king bed as well as a full private bathroom with a garden tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the second bathroom. The living area has an open feel with a dining room table and comfortable seating for up to eight people. The oversized private balcony looks down from the top floor of the hotel with magnificent 180-degree views of Charleston Harbor, its historic forts and the cities magnificent skyline.

The nautical theme continues via several model vessels, handcrafted with striking detail. Original artwork from local artisan John Carroll Doyle is displayed prominently in our lobby, as well as throughout the property, including our guestrooms. Complete with an impressive display of antique tackle gear, the Reel Bar offers the ideal locale to relax and unwind. The bar itself is made of solid teak which came off an old ship that sank off the coast of Miami. The wood was brought up to Charleston in pieces and was restored for use in The Reel Bar. Amazing seascape views can be enjoyed from the adjoining Sunset Terrace. This is the perfect spot to slow down after a long day of sightseeing.

Unfortunately, Charleston Harbor is a major shipping channel and swimming is not permitted off of our private beach. However, we are proud to offer our outdoor harborside pool for a refreshing swim.
