Deluxe Rooms
There are three styles of Deluxe Guestrooms at the Allegro: King Deluxe, Queen Deluxe and the Double/Double Deluxe.

Premiere Guestrooms are more spacious than Deluxe Guestrooms. There are two styles of Premiere Rooms at the Allegro: the King Premiere and the Double/Double Premiere.

One Bedroom Jacuzzi Suite
We have two styles of our stylish King Suites at the Hotel Allegro. Both feature a 27" flat screen television, a Sony CD stereo with remote control and a sofa that converts into a full-sized bed in the parlor area. One suite style features a large writing desk and the other offers a conference table for four. The separate - and private - bedroom offers the luxury of a king-sized bed. And one style comes with a Jacuzzi tub for one while the other has a Jacuzzi tub for two. Indulge in the animal print robes (available for purchase) and we supply the Mr. Bubble for the tub.

Theme Suites

Lion King Suite
The Hotel Allegro Chicago's Lion King Suites takes "royal treatment" to a new level. Inspired by and in tribute to the award-winning Disney musical, guests get a glimmer of what's to come when they see the front door, with its hand-carved mahogany columns and native mask from Zimbabwe. Stepping inside, guests are immediately transported to a grasslands-like setting inspired by the Pridelands of Pride Rock. Colors in rich shades of orange shadow, harvest cider, vermilion orange and Morocco red highlight the soothing Spirit Fountain and the five native African masks across from the suite's entrance. A cozy sitting area is surrounded by unique artifacts and accents, including an antique Bauli hat mask from the Ivory Coast, tom toms, a giant shield bowl, and the traditional African game of Oware, carved out of wood with its base shaped like a turtle, the symbol of intellect and longevity. Six limited edition prints of various masks and costumes, signed by the musical's director, Julie Taymor (who also designed the show's costumes) are a highlight of the suite. And the tranquil bedroom features heavenly stars painted on the deep eggplant and royal garnet colored walls and ceiling, surrounding an open-weave raffia canopy over the king-sized bed. The bathroom, continuing the theme, features a two-person Jacuzzi tub, set off by a tasseled shower curtain hung on a bamboo rod.

Second City Suite
The Second City Suite celebrates the 40th anniversary of Chicago's famed Second City Theatre. With design input from the cast and crew of The Second City, including set designer Lyn Pusztai, the suite includes elements unique to the Wells Street cabaret theatre founded in December 1959. In addition to photos and memorabilia, the suite features an original caricature by artist Bill Utterback, who created artwork for every Second City revue for nearly 30 years. The hallway leading to the suite contains an original piece by Chicago-based artist Tom Fedro, in addition to artifacts, photos and other Second City images. Furnishings for The Second City Suite are on loan from the company's private collection or are handcrafted exclusively for the Hotel Allegro Chicago.

The Second City is a Chicago mainstay and launching pad for numerous comedic actors, writers and directors working today in American film, television and theater - and remains - a must-see for visitors and locals alike.

Allegro Suite
Located on the 19th floor of the Hotel Allegro, our corner suite offers 900 square feet of hospitality space, complete with a intimate seating areas and a table that seats up to ten for a sleeves-rolled-up meeting or a celebratory dinner party. The details, such as palm trees, views overlooking the city, a Sony stereo, a full bathroom, and all the services and amenities are what differentiate this suite. Just in case you want to stretch your stay, you can make this into a one- or two-bedroom suite: one wing has a king-bedded premier guestroom (with a two-person Jacuzzi tub) and the other wing offers a double-bedded premier guestroom.
