LOCATION: The Horizon Casino Resort, located adjacent to the Edgewood Golf Course, offers a low-key gaming atmosphere in scenic Lake Tahoe, Nev. The resort is two blocks from Heavenly Mountain Resort and features a lobby with stunning photography of the mountains and valleys that grace Lake Tahoe.
The Horizon Casino Resort's 24- hour, 40,000-square-foot casino boasts live music, dancing and a long-running female impersonator cabaret show. The hotel also offers a large heated pool, three spa tubs and a 24-hour fitness center. Eight movie theaters show current releases and bargain matinees daily. Couples can engage the services of wedding planners, who can organize nuptials at the hotel's wedding chapel or on a local mountaintop. Should corporate matters draw guests to Lake Tahoe, the hotel provides 13,000 square feet of meeting and reception space, with Internet access available for an additional fee. The Horizon Casino Resort features 539 guestrooms in the Aspen and Alpine towers. Guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Nevada Mountains or the pool.
ACCOMODATION: The Horizon Casino Resort offers 2 hotel towers to choose from. The rooms in our Alpine Tower offer spectacular pool, mountain or lake views. These rooms are equipped with color TV, telephone, voicemail, dataport, On-Demand movies, private bathrooms, table with 2 chairs and balconies are available in some rooms.
The rooms in our Aspen Tower offer mountain, pool, and forest views. The amenities in our Aspen Tower are the same as in our Alpine Tower just across from our beautiful pool, the largest outdoor pool in Lake Tahoe.
