HOTEL DESCRIPTION
Stonepine Estate is nestled amid 330 pristine acres in the gently rolling hills of Carmel Valley on the picturesque Monterey Peninsula of Central California. The estate was named for the ancient Italian stone pines that have stood sentry on its grounds for almost eighty years.
The privacy of this unique setting has welcomed clientele from throughout the world for intimate hideaways to society celebrations. The European-trained staff will cater to your every need from onsite amenities to Carmel Valley wine tours, area golf, or reservations at local restaurants. Five houses and cottages throughout the estate grounds are available for rental or for special events, corporate meetings and weddings.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Paddock House Suites. Three individual bedrooms located in the former bunkhouse of the Crocker banking Family's Double H Ranch. Built in the late 1920's, it is now a charming New England Style Residence.
Briar Rose Cottage. A story-book two bedroom cottage reminiscent of "Sleeping Beauty". Overlooking its own private rose garden, it dates back to the turn of the century when it was the old Birthing Barn.
Hermes House. A two bedroom, luxurious celebrity "hide-away" located on an oak chaparral bluff. Built in 1995, it overlooks the Stonepine Equestrian racetrack and lower barns.
Gate House. A five bedroom mini estate with private swimming pool and tennis court. Chateau Noel. An 8-bedroom Mediterranean villa built in the late 20's by renowned architect, Burrell Hoffman. Originally the home of Henry Potter and Helen Crocker-Russell of the San Francisco banking family, it is now the centerpiece of the Stonepine Estate.
HOTEL FACILITIES AND AMENITIES
Dining
A full European breakfast is included and can be served in your accommodation or at the Paddock House dining room. Dinner arrangements can be made for the Estate Table at the Paddock House or, by special request, at the Chateau Noel Dining Room. Private Chef dinners and wine tasting can be arranged in the privacy of your accommodation or at special venues throughout the property. Picnic lunches may be on the mountaintop, at the Carmel River, or at the Paddock Gazebo. Barbecues for a party of 8 to 60 can be arranged at the Blacksmith Bar and Carriage House.
Meetings and Events
The Inn at Stonepine offers two distinct settings for a memorable storybook wedding. For those wishing to focus on the elegance and oppulence of the main Chateau Gardens and Grounds, an Estate Wedding can fulfill the dreams of the most discriminating newlywed couple. For other brides and grooms wanting a more California Country setting, the Equestrian Center and Paddock lawns provide the ideal atmosphere.
The Inn at Stonepine is experienced in operating programs for corporate meetings, incentives including team building, think tanks, global forums with international political dialogue, and charitable fundraising events.
