historic hotel has 352 guestrooms with Queen Anne-style chairs,
four-poster beds, chenille sofas, and antique reproduction furnishings
in polished cherry. Bedspreads and window treatments are custom-tailored,
and beds have pillowtop mattresses. Brass lamps illuminate writing
desks with high-speed Internet access ports (fee). Beautifully
renovated black-and-white-tiled bathrooms offer designer toiletries
and pedestal sinks. Some rooms have city views. High-speed Internet

lunches, and complimentary hors d'oeuvres during early evening
social hour. Open weeknights from early evening to very late.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the pub opens at midday and stays
open until late at night.
