MEETINGS: Since our opening, we along with our sister hotel, The Westin Oaks, have been called "Queen of the Galleria." June 2003 marked the completion of a $28 million renovation of all guest rooms, as well as a complete transformation of the lobbies and 93,617 square feet of meeting/exhibit space, including uptown Houston area's largest ballroom (12,411 square feet) and a 26,034-square-foot exhibit hall.

Whether you're planning a small meeting, large convention, or even a social gathering, we are the ideal choice. Combined, both towers offer 93,617 square feet of flexible meeting/exhibit space. The Westin Galleria's 70,546 square feet of meeting space has 20 meeting rooms, which can accommodate from 10 to over 2,000. Our own 23,071 square feet of meeting space offers 11 meeting rooms accommodating between 10 and 1,200.

Four ballrooms provide the perfect location for banquets ranging in size from 270 to 1,000: the 12,411 square foot Galleria Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000-banquet style, the 8,437 square foot Consort Ballroom can accommodate up to 540-banquet style, and the 5,428 square foot Plaza Ballroom can seat up to 400 in a banquet-style setting and the 4,965 square foot Monarch Room, overlooking the Houston skyline on the 24th floor, can accommodate up to 270 in a banquet-style setting.

Two new boardrooms provide an intimate setting for depositions, executive level meetings or breakout sessions. At the end of the day, consider having a luau party poolside with Tiki torches and a zydeco band.
