The Manzil Suite is furnished with beautiful antique furniture, handloom silk drapes, rich tapestries and carved cornices on the walls; hand knotted oriental floor rugs and it offers a dressing room; new bathroom; very comfortable and practical sitting room; and a comfortable king sized four poster bed. The rooms all have a fridge; cable TV; and both wireless and cable internet. The bedroom and the sitting room are both air-conditioned. HOTEL FACILITIES: Dhaka is peppered with a wide variety of restaurants boasting flavors from around the world. For most of these venues, like restaurants around the globe, demand for punctual service requires some pre-cooking, freezing and re-heating of meals. However,  IDEAS MANZIL’s restaurant only serves freshly cooked food in keeping with the tradition of 'Ma’er ranna' or mother’s cooking.
IDEAS MANZIL’s roof-top restaurant is unique for Bangladesh. It is a thatched roof and woven matting ceiling building built in the same traditions as those of Garo houses (an indigenous minority living mostly in the North East of the country).
Because the restaurant seeks to only serve the freshest and tastiest of foods, guests need to book at least 12 hours ahead. Bookings may be done via telephone of via the internet and the menu is discussed and finalized prior to the event. The table is always attractively laid out with flowers and candlelight.

Menus are thus fixed ahead of time - but are built around five different types of cuisine: Bharat kho Khanna (Indian Food); Deshi Ma’er Ranna (country mother’s cooking which is Bangla); Chiang Mai Thai; European Palate; and Cox’s Seafood Selection. The menu includes a starter; a hor’s d’oeuvres; a soup; the main course with six dishes and a salad; a sweet dish and finally a cup of the best Darjeeling tea. The restaurant also caters for functions with a large range of finger-food.
