hike to Taktsang monastry one of the high lights of Bhutan (Alt. 3100 ) the holy cave dates back to 8th century, and the surrounding temples built in 1692 by the 4th Desi Tenzin Rabgyal. In 1998 a fire, cause still unknown, destroyed the main structure of Taktsang and its contains.Re-construction of temple just completed early this year.
