In the morning, visit of Lama Temple, one of the best Buddhist sacred temples in the region. Lama Temple reveals diverse architectural styles from Han, Mongolia, Manchuria and Tibet. There is also an impressive 60-foot (26-meter) Maitreya Buddha carved form a single sandalwood block. |

In the afternoon, visit of the magnificent gardens of Prince Gong’s mansion, Beijing’s largest and the best preserved Qing Dynasty royal mansion. |

Then, you will visit Beijing’s traditional old streets, called “hutongs”, in a rickshaw and get a taste of the city life. You will stop to visit an ordinary Chinese home and then climb to the top of the old Drum Tower for a bird’s eye view of the area. |
