After breakfast, transfer to Shaoling Temple, by coach. When arrived, visit the Shaolin Temple, which is located at the foot of Song Shan Mountain - the central of the five sacred mountains in China. The temple was founded in A.D. 527 by a monk, Bodhidharma. He developed a form of physical movement which is based on the natural motions of animals, hence the origin of Shao Lin Kung Fu. After it, continue the transfer to Luoyang. Check in hotel. |

After breakfast, visit to the Long Men Grottoes, built in the year 494, during the Northern Wei Dynasty. The Long Men Grottoes is one of China’s three leading treasure house of grotto art, with 2,100 grottoes. The largest Buddhist sculpture stands 17.14 meters tall. In the afternoon, visit White Horse Temple. After it, transfer to Kaifeng, by coach. And directly visit Judge Bao’s Memorial Hall. Check in hotel. |

In the afternoon, visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. In the morning, take flight to Shanghai. Meet in the airport. Upon arrival, directly visit to the fascinating Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden, and take a walk through the Old Town filled with antique markets and specialty stores. After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. The temple got its name from the two jade statues of Sakyamuni, one seated and one standing, both brought from Myanmar. Then go to visit the Bund, at the west shore of the Huangpu River. The splendid row of early 20th century Europe buildings remains the quintessential Shanghai sight. At last, visit Nanjing Road, which is Shanghai’s main shopping street and famous for its modern stores. |

In the morning, visit the Grassland (Steppe). The steppe is a summer resort where the air is fresh and redolent of lush grass. Tourist activities are many, including horse riding, horse racing, wrestling and visits to herbs people’s homes to experience the local life and Mongolian customs. After it, transfer to Baotou, by coach, on the way, visit desert named the Noisy Sand Bay(Xiangshawan). On a sunny day, when a person slides down the slope from the top, hands stirring the sand on the way down, the sand thrums like a plane flying overhead. Overnight at Baotou. Karez is one of the three great architectural projects of ancient China after Great Wall and Grand Canal. Lunch is at local restaurant. |
