Itinerary:

D01: Arrive Beijing
Arrive Beijing in the afternoon, the capital of China. Upon arrival, directly transfer to hotel for check in. Free program in the evening.

D02: Beijing 
Begin the day’s activity with a visit to Tian’anmen Square, the largest urban square in the world, and the “Forbidden City”, the biggest palace complex in the world. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Before dinner time, you will watch the Acrobatic show in the theater. (B,L)

D03: Beijing
Today’s highlight is your visit to the Great Wall, one of the “Seven Wonders of the World” and a symbol of Chinese civilization. A short drive away is the Ming Tombs, here you can see the underground palace for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

D04: Beijing- Xian
After a relaxed breakfast at hotel this morning, you will take coach to visit the enchanting Summer Palace, one of China’s largest and best-preserved royal gardens.
Then take afternoon flight to Xian. Meet in the airport and transfer in to the city.
Upon arrival, directly visit the City Wall to experience the great capital city in the ancient time. (B,L)

Begin the day’s activity with an once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors & Horses of China’s first feudal Emperor, Qin Shihuang. D06: Xian-Hangzhou
Morning continue visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. After lunch, fly to Hangzhou, by flight. Meet in the airport and directly transfer to visit Ling Yin Lamasery. Check in hotel. (B,L)

D07: Hangzhou-Suzhou
After breakfast, tour to appreciate the incomparably lovely West Lake with its soaring bridges and flower-bright islets. Enjoy a boat ride on West Lake. Visit the Huagang Park (Flower Harbor Park), the most attractive waterside park. Ancient Chinese people praised the West Lake area as a land of intoxicating beauty. Then, enjoy a walk along the Su Causeway that is spanned with six bridges offering different views, the willows tossing among blooming peach flowers in spring. Also, move on to visit the Meijiawu Tea House, the tea village of famous Dragon’s Well Tea. In the afternoon, transfer to Suzhou (3 hours driving), known as the “Venice of the East”, by coach or train. It was so named by early travelers because the town was built around a network of canals and 300 bridges. Check in hotel. (B,L)

D08: Suzhou-Shanghai
In the morning, visit Tiger Hill and Lingering Garden. You will also visit Suzhou Silk Factory to see how the world’s most beautiful silk is produced. In the afternoon, transfer to Shanghai (1.5 hours driving), by coach or train. (B,L)

D09: Shanghai
Full day visit to the fascinating Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden, and take a walk through the Old Town filled with antique markets and specialty stores. And the Jade Buddha Temple. The temple got its name from the two jade statues of Sakyamuni, one seated and one standing, both brought from Myanmar. In the afternoon, visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, to have a bird’s eye view of the whole city. After it, visit the Bund, at the west shore of the Huangpu River. The splendid row of early 20th century Europe buildings remains the quintessential Shanghai sight. Then go to visit Nanjing Road, which is Shanghai’s main shopping street and famous for its modern stores. (B,L)
