Narita Airport

Narita Airport is located 60 km to the east of central Tokyo. Airport fees are included in the flight fares to all overseas destinations if departing from Narita Airport.

The Kansai International Airport is not only Japan's first 24 hour international airport, but it is built on a man made island in the ocean. This provided an excellent (though costly) answer to the scarcity of land in japan. At the same time it reduces the noise pollution and danger posed to residential areas. Naturally a bridge was the logical choice for access. Access to the airport is speedy and convenient because the truss supports not only a highway on the top deck, but also two railways on the lower deck.

Central Japan International Airport

Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) is located 35 km to the south of Nagoya City. Airport fees (2500 yen) are included in the flight fares to all overseas destinations if departing from Central Japan International Airport. For the domestic flight, arriving and departing passengers are also required to pay airport fees (200 yen, included in the flight fares).
