Hotel Malaya's newest edtiion, Kafetien 1966 complies with its name. Kafe which means coffee (drinks) and Tien derives from the olden days where resting place for travelers to shelter while having drinks and snacks. People tend to rest and play chess games while sipping tea. The outlet sells not only snacks such as sandwiches, home made cakes and pastries but also Nyonya fast food. A wide variety of authentic Nyonya dishes to choose from. Even their Roti Kahwin has home made Nyonya coconut jam. With computer games replaces the Chinese chess games. Therefore, Kafetien offers the latest computer games and internet surfing.
