The Pangkor Island Beach Resort Pangkor Island, located off the coast of Lumut in the state of Perak, is among the more popular beach resorts in the country. The journey to Lumut from Kuala Lumpur takes approximately 3 hours via the coastal road or the North-south Expressway. From the North-south Expressway, exit at Bidor junction and drive towards Teluk Intan. On leaving Teluk Intan, head towards Sitiawan and then onwards to Lumut. From Lumut it is a short 30 minutes ferry to the resort.

Alternatively, one can take a 45 minutes flight from Subang Airport via Berjaya Air. Flights are daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays (one flight per day).

The Pangkor Island Beach Resort Pangkor Island is a 3-storey resort with 141 spacious and comfortable rooms and a 4-storey Pacific Wing providing an additional 84 luxurious deluxe rooms and suites.

The remaining 15 rooms consist of 08 Chalet, 04 House on the Rock, 02 Deluxe Suite and 01 Bungalow.

All rooms have a private balcony affording spectacular sea or tropical garden views and are well appointed with modern comforts and amenities featuring private bath/shower, hairdryer, minibar/mini refrigerator, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, in-house video, Cable TV (CNBC, Star Movie, Star Sports, Discovery Channel and Cartoon Network) and international direct dial telephone.

You will be given a set of directions called 'tulips' together with a list of questions or clues to test your knowledge and observation skills. Answers to these clues will be found along the route.

Menu selection is wide and variable - or staff will cater for you individually in order to be as flexible as possible.

Our main room is the Pacific Ballroom, which can seat up to 200 guests for a sit down dinner, and can be divided into 2 sections by movable partitions. It is used for conventions and meetings, tour group buffets, and as an extension to the Hornbill Restaurant. Other, smaller meeting rooms are located on the second floor
