The Royal Mulu Resort is by itself a luxurious resort set in the heart of the Sarawak jungle. The resort is situated on the Melinau River adjacent to the Mulu National Park, home to the worlds famous Mulu Caves. The range of mountains forms a spectacular backdrop to the resort.
Designed in the style of ethnic longhouses, this relaxing Resort was built on wooden stilts, three metres above the ground. Linked by a series of wooden walkways, the Resort stands on the banks of the Melinau River, in the midst of a beautiful natural environment.
The Royal Mulu Resort is an international class nature destination, offering the best combination of “resort experience”, nature and comfort. The Resort is located near the Gunung Mulu National Park, home of lush rainforest and some of the most amazing cave systems in the world.

All guest rooms have rich parquet floorings with private bath and shower, mini-bar, individually controlled air-conditioning, standard amenities, hot and cold showers.The Resort has its own water treatment plant, which supplies all guest rooms with clean and safe water. Every room enjoys a spacious verandah, which offers guests a stunning view of either the rich surrounding jungle or the Melinau River.
All staff at Royal Mulu Resort are constantly trained with updated First Aid procedures and for cases which requires medical attention, a clinic from the nearby village is always available at a stone's throw away.

Blackpepper Detox (2 Hours) The signature treatment of the Royal Mulu Spa. Feel fresher and energised by going through this treatment. It starts off with a body cleanser and scrub to clean off dead skin cells, followed by a massage using a blend of blackpepper essential oils, a body mask/wrap and ends with body toning. The benefit of this treatment is to rid
the body of toxins and water retention in the body, keeping the body warm, regulate the digestive system and ease muscle and joint problems. |
Soothing Massage (60 Minute)
This is a soft medium pressure massage. Working on superficial layers of muscle to promote circulation and relaxation.
Pressure Massage (60 Minutes)
This massage technique use firm pressure to penetrate deep in to the muscle tissue and aims to release hidden tension.
Directive Spot Massage
This massage is specially for tired legs after a long day. It compliments the other treatments in our Spa. It can help to heal specific problems like sinu, headache/migrane, lumbago, stiff neck and constipation. Pure essential oil of pepermint and lavender are used for this massage. |

LOCATION
The Resort located at a distance of five minutes by van from the Mulu airstrip, or twenty minutes by boat. The River journey takes approximately 9 hours, and is a great way to see Sarawak.
