Dining at The Pacific Sutera

Silk Garden. Silk Garden Chinese Restaurant was featured in Malaysia Tatler’s Best Restaurants list of 2009. Located next to the tranquil gardens and landscaped ponds of The Pacific Sutera, the restaurant enjoys fabulous views of the yachts by the marina, the swimming pool, swaying trees and the South China Sea against a picturesque backdrop of the islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

Cafe Boleh. Café Boleh is Sutera Harbour Resort's only 24-hour restaurant, serving a wide selection of Western and Malaysian dishes a la carte. The renowned buffet options are available daily with elaborate indoor and outdoor set-up, making Café Boleh a popular dining venue for both guests and locals in Sabah.

Waves Pool Bar. A place to relax in the sun, have fun and listen to the latest hits, Waves Pool Bar is set against beautifully landscaped gardens on the edges of the ocean with magnificent views of the entire resort and the tropical islands in the horizon. Dining at The Magellan Sutera

Al Fresco. Situated by the side of a beautifully landscaped sea-view pool, Al Fresco enjoys outdoor dining with spectacular scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. The extensive selection of pasta and seafood dishes and famous wood-fired pizzas are complemented by a lively cocktail menu.

Ferdinand's. Listed as one of Malaysia's best restaurants by Malaysia Tatler, Ferdinand's is a world class Italian restaurant offering the most exquisite fine-dining experience served with style, charm and attention to detail open only for that perfect night out.

Five Sails. Five Sails restaurant offers a daily selection of international and Malaysian favourites for breakfast and dinner buffets. The elaborate spread for Sunday Brunch is particularly popular for late-risers and those seeking a perfect weekend treat.

Tarik's Lobby Lounge. Tarik’s Lobby Lounge at the farthest end of the vast, magnificent lobby presents panoramic sea views and overlooks the free form swimming pool. Perfect for coffee during the day or a sunset cocktail at night it offers a delicious selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a snack menu and live entertainment at night. Malaysia’s famous pulled tea, the 'Teh Tarik', is one of the main attractions at Tarik’s.

Sports, Recreation & Entertainment

Swimming Pools. The swimming pools at our hotels are beautifully landscaped and surrounded by greenery, flowers and palm trees alongside white, sandy beaches overlooking the South China Sea and the tropical islands nearby. The free form pools and Olympic sized lap pool at the Marina commands fabulous views of the entire resort and all the yachts. Our pools are accessible to guests of all ages and are patrolled by experienced and friendly life guards.

Recreation Centre. Fully air-conditioned recreation rooms are available at The Magellan Sutera and the Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club, featuring an impressive collection of electronic games, board games and PlayStations.

Live Bands. There are live performances virtually every night of the week with acoustic bands performing either all time favourites at the Pacific Lobby Lounge and Tarik's Lobby Lounge at the two hotels or at the various restaurants at The Magellan Sutera. Popular with guests, the acoustic trio can perform virtually every song at your request.

Native Cultural Shows. Cultural performances showcasing the dances of various ethnic native groups in Sabah are performed daily from 8.00am to 10.00am with more elaborate traditional dances between 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

Movie Theatre. Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club features a 100-seat theatre with scheduled showings of a selection of choice movies, including recent releases and classic favourites. Equipped with Barco System and OHP for seminars and meetings, the theatre is normally packed at weekends.

Chart Room. For some peace and quiet, visit the Chart Room on Level 3 of the Marina Club House. The comfortable, air-conditioned lounge with comfortable sofas and a calm ambience, overlooks the marina and the sea and is a perfect space for reading, study and research.

Beaches. The clean, sandy beaches at The Pacific Sutera and The Magellan Sutera are surrounded by swaying trees and an amazing view of the ocean and tropical islands in the distance. These beaches have been created to provide guests with a private and exclusive area to enjoy sunbathing in a perfect tropical paradise setting. From here, you can see the orange and red hues of the spectacular sunsets that has made the resort world famous.

Spa. Mandara Spa at The Magellan Sutera and Body Senses of Mandara Spa at The Pacific Sutera offer the classic Balinese experience where you can unwind and relax in the peaceful and architecturally decorated rooms or enjoy a full massage by the side of the beach in the open air pavillion.

Body Senses Gym. Part of Body Senses by Mandara Spa, the Fitness Centre at The Pacific Sutera comes equipped with work stations, treadmills and free weights.
