Bodu Hithi Tila

Location: West side of the Atoll, in the channel to the outer reef, a 85 min. boatride from Bandos.
Type of Dive: Driftdive
Depth Range: 10m - 25m
Photography: A wide angle lens 14mm - 28mm is recommended for mantas, sharks and turtles.
Special Feature: The main attraction here are the manta rays seen from December to May. Getting a chance to have a look at these elegant creatures at close quarters is high, and the possibility exists of sighting a whale shark. The coral growth, however, is less remarkable, and we limit diving in this region to just during the manta season. Besides the mantas, there are quite a few reef sharks and turtles to see.
