| Description:
A spectacular wall dive. A section of about 100 metres has fallen
away, leaving a basin with overhangs and caves at a depth of
5 to 30 metres. |

| Marine
life: Small delicate purple seafans cover the
ceiling of the overhangs, many species of grouper and soldierfish
in the caves. Commonly seen on this reef are scribbled filefish
trumpetfish and freckled hawkfish. If divers look carefully
they may see well-camouflaged leaf fish. In the caves are white-banded
possum wrasse and cheeked pipefish. Opportunity of seeing larger
fish swimming in the blue. |
| Instructor's
comment: Take the time to look for little things
on offer. While studying the fauna be particularly careful with
buoyancy control, as many of the overhangs are shallow. Stay
out of the overhangs if not fully in control. The best diving
is between five and 15 metres. |
