LOCATION
Embudu Village Resort is locted
in South Male atoll is this resort, one of the closest to the
famous Vaadhoo Channel - a dive spot for adventurers. 8 km from
the airport, 45 minuets by fast dhoni.
Embudu Village is for people who like to do everything or nothing
at all. With some of the best locations nearby for diving with
its magnificent house reef close by. Embudhu is the ideal paradise
for you and your family, away from it all. At night, its heeromance.

ACCOMMODATION
Earlier Embudu Village used
to have more standard rooms than superior rooms, but today they
have 72 Superior's and 36 Standard rooms.The main difference
of these two types of rooms are air-conditioning, a little more
space and the odd piece of furniture. As you can see from the
left side picture, these rooms may not be considered as attractive
from outside (corrugated iron roof, small terrace and two plastic
chairs), but inside they are well lit, high-ceilinged an white,withsolid,wellvarnished
wood. There is fresh water in the tap and shower, but hot water
in the shower only.
The 16 Water Bungalows are named as Deluxe: large, simple and
well furnished, with a telephone, minibar, satellite TV, and
see the glass panel (right side picture) in the wood-lined floor
enabling to see the fish and coral garden below.No other island
has water bungalows so close to such a gorgeous coral garden.
In fact, the coral is so close (to the bungalows and to the
surface) that steps could not be built down from the balconies.

DINING
| There is a beach bar, a coffee
shop, and a restaurant with bar. Dining is just as enjoyable
on the island with a wide array of seafood on offer on a regular
basis. |
There is the reception/lounge
with TV, water sports and recreational facilities: diving, snorkeling,
surfing, and sailing, volleyball, table tennis, badminton. Indoor
games, outdoor games, night fishing, island hopping, and many more
are there for you.
| Diving
is a popular activity on Embudhu with delightful dive sites
in the vicinity and a dive centre which is both friendly and
efficient. Some of the best locations for diving including a
magnificent house reef are close by. Embudhu is the ideal paradise
for you and your family, away from it all.
