LOCATION
Palm Beach Resort is one of the most beautiful
island resorts in the Maldives. The island is surrounded by
a 3-mile white sandy beach protected by a magnificent lagoon
and coral reefs. The island has all the modern facilities
including health & recreation, water sports and a 5 star
PAD I standard diving centre.
Palm Beach Resort - known locally as Madhiriguraidhoo
- is located on the Northeastern fringes of the Lhaviyani
Atoll, approximately 80 miles North of Male' International
Airport.
This beautiful secluded island has rich vegetation, stretching
to a length of 1.2 miles with a width of 900 ft. A 3-mile
white-sand beach and a magnificent lagoon surround the island,
only a quarter of which is inhabited.
This 5 star Resort Island was opened in August 1999, with
modern facilities, including Health & Recreation, Water
Sports and a 5 star PADI standard Diving Centre.
A total of 100 Guest Rooms line the white, sandy beaches of
Palm Beach.
You can choose among 20 Villas, 55 Deluxe Rooms and 25 Superior
Rooms, all equipped with most modern facilities.
Guests are ferried to the island by Sea Plane from Male’
International Airport. Palm Beach Representatives welcome
arriving guests at the airport, and make all necessary arrangements
for the 40-minute flight to our Resort Island.

| A total of 100 Guest Rooms surround the island,
mostly lining the white beaches of Palm Beach, crafted in
three different styles to better suit your needs. All rooms
have been designed with a Maldivian touch, tucked away in
thick vegetation and scattered along the length of the island
to ensure total privacy.
Deluxe Rooms (55)
Our Deluxe Rooms include a bedroom and an outdoor bathroom.
Furnished with every comfort, each one of them offers: mini-bar,
air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV with in House
Movie Service, telephone IDD, hair-dryer, hot/cold desalinated
water, tub, outdoor shower.
Deluxe Superior Rooms (25)
Situated just a few steps away from the beach, our Deluxe
Superior Rooms are placed in a privileged position. The rooms
feature refined furnishings and include a bedroom and an outdoor
bathroom. Rooms facilities are: mini-bar, air conditioning,
ceiling fan, Satellite TV and in House Movie Service, telephone
IDD, hair dryer, hot/cold desalinated water, tub, outdoor
shower.
Villa Rooms ( 20)
Situated in the eastern part of the island, our Villas are
the nearest to the main complex. Villas include a living room,
a bathroom in typical Maldivian style – outdoors - and
sport an upper floor bedroom and balcony with breathtaking
Ocean views. Furnished with every comfort, our Villas offer:
mini-bar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, Satellite TV with
in House Movie
Service, telephone IDD, hair dryer, hot/cold desalinated water,
tub, outdoor shower, Jacuzzi, bidet.

Palm Beach Resort offers you one of the widest
arrays of Dining Experiences. We really hope you’ll
appreciate our selection of Restaurants, Bars and Event locations.
Four different Restaurants are available on the island, each
one of them inviting you to enjoy its own unique services
and meals.
Our main restaurant – Dhandehelu – will be serving
buffet meals.
A Maldivian Buffet is also organized weekly. The Tea House
/ Coffee Shop, The Ihi Ge (lobster) Restaurant and the Fish
& Grill, all serve special menus throughout the day. |
BARS
Bars have also been conveniently located across the resort.
Tea House Bar, Pool Bar, Beach Bar and A la Carte Bar, are
all ready to welcome you throughout the day and night, to
make your stay at the Palm Beach Resort most pleasing.
- Pool Bar, Located alongside the swimming pool, with a
capacity of around 40 people.
- Beach Bar, Located at the end of the island offers Guests
another charming chance to enjoy drinks and snacks while
relaxing on the beach.
- The Fish & Grill bar, for who wish to have lunch at
fish grill restaurant, opened from 11.00 AM until 08.00
PM.
Breakfast & Tea Time, Serving breakfast until 01:00 PM.
In the afternoon, why not taste some of our special tea flavors.
Dhandehelu Restaurant, Large, airy and comfortable, offers
its guests a variety of freshly made buffet meals, including
Mediterranean, Chinese and Maldivian specialties. Dhandehelu
seats 350.
Ihi Ghe, Elegant and inspiring, characterized by a warm, romantic
candlelight atmosphere, where a crustacean-based dinner can
be satisfactorily tasted. Ihi Ghe seats 50.
The Fish & Grill, Located on the beach just feet away
from the Ocean. Just recently built and usually serving lunch,
based on a diverse selection of fresh, locally caught fish.
Seats up to 35 people.
Candle Light, On the jetty. With personal Maldivian waiters,
it is a romantic place designed and operated with couples
in mind.
Bars have also been conveniently located across the resort.

snorkeling, at Palm Beach there is a wide range of sports

Guests along with diverse instructor programs.

open to our Guests. Also available are two hydro massage pools.

HOTEL FACILITIES
DivingPalm Beach is situated in the beautiful Lhaviyani
Atoll, literally surrounded by wonderful and mostly untouched dive
locations. Our Macana Diving School offers diving courses for beginners
as well as well experienced divers. Our Staff is multilingual: dive
instructors can speak English, Italian and French.
In addition to diving, snorkeling is an excellent
way to explore the beautiful creatures that live underwater. Diving
and snorkeling excursions are organized frequently.
Spa
In August 2003, our new wellness centre at Palm Beach
Resort - located on the central area of the island - opened nearby
the beach, where you can now enjoy our unique treatment while relaxing
by the turquoise Ocean.
Our SPA is one of the most modern and largest available
in the Maldives, designed into five different areas, each one of
them offering its unique rejuvenating traditions of the East and
exotic native rituals. All treatments are available both indoors
and outdoors of the wellness centre.
The SPA offers a wide range of services, among which
you’ll find: hairdressing, manicure, pedicure, waxing, body
and face massages.
Also, in our dedicated SPA shop, you'll be able to
purchase the items our professionals use for your treatment, including:
massage and bathing oils, incenses, body lotions, soaps, scented
candles, towels, swimsuits, kimonos and ceramics.
