Mt. Popa, known as Myanmar’s Mt. Olympus, is a forest clad landmark arising 5000 ft. above sea level and is a place of special importance in both the Country’s History & Culture. The natural springs, flowers and wooded hillsides greatly contrast to the arid lands surrounding it and therefore called the “Oasis of the dry zone”. The climate is also totally different from neighboring Bagan & Myingyan.
Perched mid way to the summit of this legendary Mountain, over looking the “Popa Taungkalat” at 2,500 ft. above sea level is the eco-friendly Popa Mountain Resort, an International Resort Hotel.
The resort is 40 minutes drive from Bagan/Nyaung U airport.

The Chalets and all main buildings in the resort are constructed from choice Myanmar timber.They are designed to provide privacy and blend in with the environment. Whether sitting out by the pool or lazing on the private balcony from the villa, the guests will feel totally relaxed by the beautiful flowers and plants all around the resort.

The resort offers 8 deluxe rooms directly overlooking the magnificent Taungkalat, 22 deluxe rooms and 20 superior rooms with view of flowers and trees filled landscaped garden.
