Nestled amongst coconut palms on the pristine beach frontage of Ngapali Beach in the bay of Bengal, Myanmar. The luxurious resort consists of 48 Villas & Cottages, scattered throughout the 6 acres of 450 meters long beach frontage and tropical gardens, most with ocean views. The resort is designed in traditional South East Asian elegance and is constructed in local materials of various kinds of hard wood, stone carving and marble. The hotel interior has been decorated with furnishings and fittings that have been designed and produced exclusively for the Sandoway.

Sandoway Villas:
The Sandoway Villas, consisting of 10 Villas with a Beach Front View and 8 Villas with a Sea View, offer ultimate privacy in our Resort's most exclusive setting. Within a spacious 120 sqm, the Villa's open interior seamlessly blends bedrooms and living space, ultimately opening onto a private verandah facing the sea and sunset.
A spiral stairway leads to the Villa's upper level where a private loft with beautiful picture window showcases the serene views of the gardens and the sea.

Sandoway Cottages:
The Sandoway Cottages, consisting of 5 Beach Front Cottages (80 sqm), 10 Village Cottages (80 sqm) and 15 Deluxe rooms (75 sqm), all in two storey design with an open air verandah.
The ground level living area is tastefully decorated with lounge divan, writing desk and chairs with access to the verandah and beach. A sky light sunroof brings the natural sunlight into the spacious bathroom. The bedroom on the upper floor takes of the cool night breeze that waft off the cooling waters of the Bay of Bengal. A beautiful picture window showcases the serene views of the sea and the gardens - a peaceful space for meditation and relaxation.

The International Restaurant specializes in the preparation of freshly caught lobsters, prawns and other seafood bought directly from the fishing boats each morning. The Lounge bar located on the open verandah overlooking the beach is the perfect spot to have pre-dinner cocktails while comparing the brightly lit night sky against the reflected twinkling of the shimmering ocean.
