This helicopter flight takes you from Islamabad to Fairy Meadows through the lush green Kaghan Valley and along the Old Silk Route over the Babu Sar Pass at 13,690 feet. The landing site at Fairy Meadows lies in the lap of Nanga Parbat - The Killer Mountain standing at 26,656 feet. The place is renowned for its splendid environment and unforgettable views of this western most Himalayan massif. From Fairy Meadows to Skardu is a breathtakingly spectacular journey through the Astor Valley and over the Deosai Plateau, a treeless wilderness at 13,000 feet. On the second day of your tour you will be flown to K-2, the second highest mountain in the world, over flying Shigar Valley, Braldu Gorge, Hot Springs, Baltoro Glacier and Concordia, the ultimate in wilderness beauty, which remains uncrowded, unspoilt and unfrequented even today. During this flight you will be seeing Trango Towers, Masherbrum (K-1), Younghusband Glacier and much more. Your day will terminate at Hunza after a spectacular flight through Skardu - Gilgit canyon with the towering Himalayan Peaks in the south and glorious Karakoram in the north or through Biafo or Hispar Glacier. The next morning you will be flown from Hunza to Khunjrab Pass, the highest road crossing on Pak-China border and back to Gilgit for night stop. On the last leg of this safari we will start toward Chitral over flying Shandur pass. After a night stay at Chitral we shall fly back to Islamabad over flying Lowari Pass, Dir and a brief stop at Swat.
