Information |
Shogran
is located at 2,400m above Sea Level. It is the most beautiful
place in Kaghan Valley and ideal for spending a weekend. You can
either trek up to summer pastures at about 2,700m to the Forest
Rest House (02 hours walk) or trek down to Kawai on the main Balakot
- Kaghan road, through a dense pine forest.
The
walk up to summer pastures could be more exciting as you could
see Malika Parbat (5, 296m), the highest mountain in Kaghan Valley,
and whose shadow in the clear white water of Saiful Maluk adds
to the beauty of this legendry Lake. Hiking is superlative.
Being at Concordia means to be face to face with K2, the Savage
Mountain, a real sole stirring experience. Could you feel at home
among cornices, ridges, couloirs and summits that surround Concordia?
