The name "Alyssa" is a combination of Italian and Filipino name. In August 1995, those dreams came into reality, and Alyssa resort was established. Alyssa resort rose at the most strategic location in the Southern part of the 3.4-kilometer stretch of whitesand beach. Alyssa Resort a tiny palm-dotted island resort in the heart of the Philippine archipelago off the coast of Aklan, in the Western Visayas.

Get there via Kalibo, Aklan. Philippine Airlines (PAL) flies from Manila to Kalibo (2-3 flights daily) and Cebu to Kalibo (2-3 times a week). Alyssa resort tour coordinates escort pre-booked guests to the Caticlan jetty port on board air-conditioned buses. Get there via Caticlan. A daily commercial passenger aircraft flies to the Caticlan airport. A 5-minute ride to the jetty will take the guests on a 25-minute ride to the Alyssa resort.
