Birdwatching
Feel closer to nature and observe the migratory birds of the peninsula. Located in Sibacan, Pto. Rivas, City of Balanga, the site is one of the few in the country that has the highest waterbird count as recorded by the Asian Waterbirds Census.
Jungle Trekking
A forest reservation ideal for picnics and camping activities. The cool water of the pool offers a fun place for visitors bent on having a dip. For the more adventurous they can go jungle trekking. To savor the best out of this place, visitor may stay at the specially designated camping grounds or rent one of the shanties for overnight stay.
Walis Lasa Making
One of the oldest sources of income in the province, the cottage industry shows a step-by-step demonstration of the walis lasa production in Brgy. Mabatang, Abucay. Said broom is being sold in nearby provinces and the Metropolis.
Marine Turtles Conservation Center
The entire Bagac and Morong coasts are known as nesting grounds of 3out of 5 sea turtle species in the country. This includes the Hawksbill, Olive Ridley and the Green Turtle. The Bantay Pawikan, Inc. started the first community-based conservation program of Marine Turtles with the help of UNDP-GEF-SGP-PRRM and the Provincial Government. Soon other communities and groups in neighboring towns replicated the conservation work and is going on up to present.
Animal Feeding
The BPSU Bataan Peninsula State University in Abucay is an Agricultural School in the province. A guided Tour at the Training Center and the different plantations will follow. Guests could also go to the poultry houses where tourists could feed the Swine, Goats, Cattles, and Sheeps. Broiler Houses are also part of the tour where they could get a chance to harvest chicken eggs.
Maritime Academy of Asia and Pacific
Strategically located in the picturesque Kamaya Point in Mariveles, the Associated Marine Officers and Seamen’s Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) capitalized and developed the Maritime Academy Of Asia And The Pacific.
