LANGUAGES
Two official languages --- Filipino and English. Filipino which is based on Tagalog, is the national language. English is also widely used and is the medium of instruction in higher education.
Eight (8) major dialects spoken by majority of the Filipinos: Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon or Ilonggo, Bicol, Waray, Pampango, and Pangasinense.

AKLAN ( BORACAY ) - the prime beach destination in the Philippines because of its crystal blue waters, powder white sand, liberal doses of tropical palms and flowering plants and a healthy marine life underneath the seas, Boracay is located in the Province of Aklan. Aside from this, Aklan is also famous for its Ati - Atihan Festival in celebration of the feast of the Sto . Nino, 3rd sunday of January.

AKLAN ( KALIBO ) -The town of Kalibo is the capital of the province of Aklan, one of the four provinces comprising the island of Panay, the sixth largest island in the Philippines. Aklan is a relatively new province in the Philippine atlas.
The province of Aklan is bounded on the West by Antique, on the south by Capiz, on the northwest by the Sulu Sea, and on the east by Sibuyan Sea.
