Visit interesting sites of Dumaguete City and its neighboring towns, namely, Bacong & Valencia. Bacong is the 1st town south of Dumaguete City where Negros Oriental Arts & Heritage (NOAH), abacca-weaving center run by a local cooperative and Bacong Church, a centuries-old coral church, are located. The town of Valencia is considered the province's mountain resort and the Baguio of the Visayas. Valencia is relatively cooler compared to the rest of the province. Visit Kata-al War Museum then proceed to Forest Camp for lunch. Forest Camp is a camping area and resort offering a quiet natural scenery amidst beautiful foliage. The camp has a green uneven terrain, vibrant with trees, palms and flowering plants. Cool running water from a brook flows to man-made swimming pools.

Set out for a 30-minute drive to Malatapay, Zamboanguita, three towns south away from Dumaguete City. In Malatapay, take a motorized outrigger boat for almost an hour trup to Apo Island. The worlds famous island, known for its diverse marine life and water beach is frequently visited by avid divers. The Apo Marine Sanctuary is one of Asia's successful community-managed marine reserve where one can snorkel and see the diverse marine life underwater. Lunch will be served at the Apo Island Beach Resort.

Enjoy nature at its best by visiting Casaroro Falls and Forest Camp in the municipality of Valencia, 13 kilometers from Dumaguete City. En route to Valencia, visit Kata-al World War II Museum with the Japanese souvenirs and memorabilia. Upon reaching Casaroro Falls, one sees the enchanting waterfalls estimated to be 80 to 100 feet high with an invititng pool at its base. Relax or swim at the cool waters from the falls amidst a beautiful thick forest foliage. Lunch will be served at Forest Camp. After lunch, spend a relaxing afternoon at Forest Camp.

Enjoy an hour drive from Dumaguete to Bais seeing the beautiful northern countryside of Oriental Negros with its quaint towns and sugarcane plantations. At Bais Wharf, take a motorized pumpboat to cruise along Tanon Strait and have a great exprerience of watching pods of dolphins cavorting in its natural habitat, the open sea. A lunch picnic in the beautiful white sand bar follows and swimming in the sand bar area is truly a relaxing experience.

Depart from Dumaguete City for a 2-hour drive to the northern town of Mabinay, known as the cave town in the province of Oriental Negros. From 1989 to 1990, a Belgian-Dutch Philippine Club launched an expedition among the existing caves and discovered 45 caves where most of them were solution and abrasion types of caves. Visit at least three caves then enjoy a good lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch proceed to the Mabinay Spring and Tirambulo Highland Resort.

About 25 kilometers northwest of Dumaguete City lies two crater lakes surrounded by dense rainforest, Lake Balinsayao and the smaller adjoining Lake Danao. Both are the biggest lakes in the island of Negros. Explore the lakes' surroundings by taking the forest trail and cross over the little hill to get to the second lake. Swim or try to canoe in the beautiful wide lake. Packed lunch will be served.

LOAY BACKYARD INDUSTRY (Loay)
Observe the local craftsmen as they make bolos and other handmade metal crafts. Witness also as the men and women made the Nipa leaves into roofing materials.

CLARIN ANCESTRAL HOUSE (Loay)
Visit a typical Boholano home, which was declared by the National Historical Institute as a heritage site. View the old collections of the Clarin Family displayed inside the house.

TARSIER (Loboc)
See the smallest monkey in the world along the Loboc River.
