HOTEL DESCRIPTION: A teardrop shaped island located just north of the equator, Sri Lanka is suitable for visiting all year round. But perhaps the best time to visit is between November and April. Although the interior of the country offers myriad discoveries, the coastline holds a special appeal to visitors with its stretch of sun bronzed beaches caressed by frothy surf and the ever changing colours of the Indian Ocean beyond.

Like most destinations is Sri Lanka, Bentota is easily accessible. Located on the South coast, just 62 km from Colombo, it is a somewhat sleepy, relaxed town of charming houses and resort hotels set amidst leafy gardens that overlook the palm fringed coastline. Apart from its inviting beach, Bentota's principal attractions include its river, ideal for exploring, water sports and the remains of the 12th century Galapata Temple, linked by a maze of subterranean tunnels to all other temples in the area.
Club Villa is neither a resort, nor is it a hotel. Instead, you are encouraged to regard it as a home away from home. In a setting that induces a sense of hypnotic, dreamlike relaxation where every wish is anticipated and answered by discreet staff whose presence is felt rather that seen or heard.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Inside the Villa you'll find a choice of 17 rooms, including 1 Club Suite. All the rooms are air conditioned, with running hotel water. The special Club Suite has a separate living area, and a long split level luxurious bathroom, with a jacuzzi bath, separate rain shower, interior garden with stylish antique columns. Each room is individually decorated with hand picked furniture from the colonial Dutch period. The walls are adorned with hand woven batiks and paintings. Each room has either a large veranda, balcony or bay window.

HOTEL FACILITIES: Food and Drink: Sea food freshly prepared to your liking, directly from the ocean. Fine European dining with tailor made menus to choose from. Traditional Sri Lankan cuisine with a magical touch of freshly ground spices and a underlying hint of chili peppers, dancing at the edge of your tongue. An endless supply of tropical fruit for dessert. Good quality wines, spirits and liqueurs at the bar. INdulgence never seemed more inviting. We also serve king coconut in the morning by the pool and high tea with cake in the afternoon. There is no set time for breakfast so guest can eat whenever the wake up.
