You have a choice of bathrooms fitted with luxurious rain showers, bathtubs or Jacuzzis. Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer and telephone, and tastefully supplied with a full range of custom made Heritance Ahungalla toiletries. The rooms are also fully equipped with energy efficient air conditioning, TVs with satellite and local channels, a comprehensive mini bar and coffee and tea making equipment. The room is supplied with coffee, tea and a gift basket of fruit, biscuits, chocolates, mint and cashew nuts on a daily basis. In providing all this luxury, we haven't forgotten the security of your valuables - each room comes equipped with a battery operated digital safe which you can program and lock with your own code. Bars
The Heritance Ahungalla has five bars where you can relax and enjoy a drink. The Apollo, which can seat 35 people, is open from 10am to 11pm and offers local and international brands, as well as a coffee and cigar menu. The other bars are all open from 10am to midnight. The Pool Bar, which can seat 100 people, and the Wall Bar, which can seat 50 people, are open air bars. The Bacchus, which can seat 45 people, the Orpheus, which can seat 40 people, and the Apollo, are air conditioned. The Orpheus is located in our night club.
Infinity Pool The Infinity Pool is another unique feature of Heritance Ahungalla hotel. It is one of architect Geoffrey Bawa’s ingenious concepts. The edge of the pool blends with the water of the ocean, giving the impression that you are in the ocean itself, although the beach separates the pool and the ocean. The traditional boat placed in the middle of the pool is an icon of the hotel and adds to the atmosphere of coastal culture. The pool lies adjacent to the main hotel lobby and guides your eye to the ocean as you entre the hotel. Pool side seating, the Mustard coffee shop and bars next to the pool make this a great place to relax. Whether to soak in the pool, sun bathe or sit by the pool side and enjoy a cocktail, the Infinity Pool is a favourite location among guests. Residents' Pool The Residents’ Pool is located in a private area of the hotel grounds and is not available to non-resident visitors to the hotel. The branches of a nearby tree dip almost into the pool, creating an ambience of a natural pool. The Residents’ Pool is a great place to relax in privacy.
