Most notable, the Marble Mountain, also known as the 5 elements mountain, once an important religious Cham spot and an ideal base for guerrillas during the war, with its commanding views of Danang Bay. Hue, the imperial city (120 km north): Capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty, is built on the banks of the Perfume River on the same principles of the Forbidden Palace in Beijing.
