Vadoo is a typical small island that you will find scattered mostly in the mid atolls of the Maldives. Situated at one of commonly used entrances into south Male atoll, few minutes by a speed boat from the airport, Vadoo Diving Paradise, although small, offer their guests a lot of privacy and due to it's location a lot of good dive sites. Vadoo island is a well-known resort island in the Maldives and this island has seen major changes during the recent years with 7 new water bungalows and other new facilities.

Vadoo is conveniently located and is ideal for short dive holiday or a relaxing trip and can also be recommended for honeymooners who has interest in diving or learning to dive. There is an exclusive and intimate atmosphere on the island where peace and quiet is always present. Due to land area being small, there are a few sport activities and other facilities available on this island compared to the larger resorts in the Maldives, but the island has enough or more activities, including diving to keep the guests visiting for at least a 7 night stay.

Vadoo Diving Paradise although small offer very spacious beach cottages and water bungalows. All rooms are air-conditioned and are of a very high standard.

• Sun Rise Wing Rooms: These a 2 blocks of two storey buildings facing the sea with a complete view of morning sun.
• Beach Cottages: Individual bungalows some facing the sea, built on one tip of the island.
• Water Cottages: Individual Water bungalows built in the shallow lagoon on stilts.
• Water Cottage Suite: Individual Water bungalows with two rooms, suitable for families.

There are a total of 31 rooms on the island, eight of which are water bungalows. Every single one of the rooms is built of pine and marble and every room contains a bathroom with top quality fittings. The water bungalows are another treat to the senses with their easy access to the excellent lagoon just underneath and with glass bottom areas in the room with which you can enjoy the enormous beauty of the coral garden under you.

The island has one main restaurant and two bars with one bar extending onto the shallow lagoon. The restaurant offer a mix of Japanese and Western food and local varieties from time time.

There are of course a variety of things to do on the island. But diving is what will give you the most pleasing memories. The island's house reef is excellent and there are as many as 5 of the 15 Protected Marine Areas within easy reach of the island. There is a wide range of marine life to be seen, coral gardens to be admires and dolphins to be made friends with.
