HOTEL DESCRIPTION: The Hotel Himàlaia Soldeu is a 4-star hotel with a Tibetan flavour in a natural mountain setting; ideal for enjoying adventure sports all the year round. Located in the centre of the beautiful, traditional mountain village of Soldeu, at 1,800 metres above sea level, it is only 50 metres from the cable car of the Grandvalira ski resort, one of the largest and most up-to-date in Europe. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: 64 of its 106 spacious and comfortable rooms are double/triple; 16 are apartments and 30 are studio flats. Because of the types of spaces included in its design, the hotel has a large capacity, ideal both for couples and for families with children and groups of friends who are seeking accommodation on a shared basis, but with the comfort of knowing that they have all the services of a four-star hotel at hand. The rooms are always spacious and comfortable, totally equipped for an easy and relaxed stay. They all have heating, full bathroom with hair-dryer, safe, satellite TV, telephone, minibar/fridge, room service; some of them have a balcony.

HOTEL FACILITIES: The hotel Himàlaia Soldeu has a bar-café with a menu where you will be able to have a wide range of coffees, teas, drinks, cocktails, wines, cava, soft drinks and our lunchtime snack menus. In addition, feel free to make use of the billiard table. In our restaurant you'll be able to enjoy a varied typical mountain cuisine. From the self-service buffet you'll be able to sample dishes from Mediterranean and European gastronomy, accompanied by a selection of fine wines from various countries. If you're wanting something a little lighter, you will find a selection of vegetarian dishes and diet foods to suit you. In addition, the restaurant has a “show cooking” area in full view of the public where all kinds of meat and fish are cooked.

The Spa & Wellness Himàlaia includes various showers to get you used to the water at the start (their use is obligatory). The towel service is also included. The facilities of the Spa consist of 2 jacuzzis, a sauna with a maximum capacity of 8 people and a Turkish bath or steam room with a maximum capacity of 6 people. It also includes a small fitness area where you'll be able to do aerobic and muscle-toning exercises, as well as a solarium and a massage service which you can reserve at reception one day in advance. Towel service is included.
