Five-Petalled Rose Celebrations 2011

The atmosphere of the Renaissance celebrations spreads throughout the entire historical center. Sounds of medieval music resonate can be heard in the center of town and its narrow lanes are filled with various conjurers and swordsmen. Stalls are set up and the packed tavern on the main square emanates singing as well as a delicious smell of roasted meat. Český Krumlov has been transformed into a living history festival.

20th International Music Festival Český Krumlov

The International Music Festival Český Krumlov is the longest-running summer music festival in the Czech Republic. Offering a wide spectrum of musical genres performed by renowned Czech and international artists, the Festival is held every July and August in the UNESCO world heritage town of Český Krumlov.
The 20th International Music Festival Český Krumlov will present a series of concerts that will range from baroque, classical, and romantic, to jazz and famous musicals. The series will also feature three symphonic orchestras, twelve chamber orchestras and ensembles, a traditional opera at the Revolving Auditorium, and more than twenty world-renown international artists.
