HOTEL DESCRIPTION: A cantilevered modernist curve set in eight hectares of gardens and forest, built into a hilltop in one of Prague’s finest residential neighborhoods, Hotel Praha offers 136 oversized rooms, including 51 suites, all with terraces and panoramic city views. A unique government-protected landmark, our early-1980s architecture is clean and elegant – no chintz or lace curtains. Most of our rooms and public areas have been renovated during the past three years. Although Hotel Praha is located in a big city, our ample land and hilltop location provide an unusual and welcome amenity: total peace & quiet. Our property has hosted distinguished guests (royalty, political leaders, film & music stars) from around the world since 1981. Offering approximately 2,700 m2 of meeting space, Hotel Praha has organized important conferences and other events, and has genuine skills in this area. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: Hotel Praha is proud to offer three types of accommodation: Ambience, Business, and Executive. We also offer one extraordinarily large (370 m2) Presidential Suite. The main difference between the three types mentioned above is their decor. Ambience rooms are decorated in shades of pink and red, Business rooms offer darker wood tones and fabrics in blue, whereas Executive rooms are characterized by light brown and golden colours. Another difference is the rooms' position within the hotel, as listed in the table below. All of Hotel Praha's rooms and suites have a private terrace, ranging in size from 10 m2 up to 25 m2. Many of our terraces alone are larger than the standard rooms in other hotels! Note that the terraces shrink slightly as one rises up through our five floors, i.e., larger terraces compensate for the less elevated view from first-floor or second-floor rooms.

HOTEL FACILITIES: Meeting Rooms: Within the Czech Republic, Hotel Praha is famous for organizing and hosting successful events. Our facilities are suitable for weddings, galas, conferences, media events, seminars, and training sessions. We have hosted two NATO summit meetings, attended by hundreds of official delegates. Our staff includes event planners with many years of experience, and our kitchen can provide snacks or full meals for as many as 1500 guests. Nevertheless, we offer secure on-site parking for up to 130 vehicles.

Banquets & Catering: Hotel Praha’s culinary professionals and large kitchens can provide snacks or meals for up to 1500 guests. During the 1980s, we catered most state banquets held at Prague Castle. We have fed all the delegates at two different NATO conferences held in Prague. We are just as proud, however, to serve dinner for eight in one of our Clubrooms, or to set up a brunch buffet for 20 family members celebrating a birthday, or to organize a corporate barbeque just outside our Park Lounge. Hotel Praha’s chefs can prepare a range of dishes, ranging from Czech favorites such as goose or venison to international classics like pasta or tacos. Alternately, if you give us the recipe for a family speciality, our chefs will find the ingredients and prepare it for you and your guests. We can also bake and decorate a large birthday or wedding cake.

Dining:Hotel Praha‘s Restaurant Lavande Cuisine has recently been renovated and given a fresh modern look. With floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to our gardens, and to the skyline of Prague beyond, the restaurant provides an elegant and spacious place to enjoy your meal. Our chefs offer the best of Czech cuisine, as well as French dishes and selected specialities from Italy and Mexico. Whether for a hearty hot breakfast, a business lunch, or a romantic candlelit dinner, Lavande Cuisine looks forward to serving you.

In the warmer months, the outdoor Terrace is treated as an extension of the restaurant, so that you may enjoy your meal out in the fresh air. The Terrace is great for evening barbecues, cocktail parties, or just a healthy salad lunch next to the fountain.

The Lounge with its long semi-circular bar is a good place for small casual business meetings, for a chat with your friends, or for enjoying coffee, cocktails, or other drinks.
