| LOCATION: Nerudova
street has retained its untouched historical and mostly Baroque
shape. Among its most important buildings belong the Thun-Hohenstain
Palace (no. 214) designed by G. Santini and build in 1720-1725.
Its sculptural ornamentation is by M. B. Braun. Morzinsky Palace
(no. 256) is again the work of G. Santini in 1714, decorated
by F. M. Brokoff, and finally teh church of the Virgin Mary
of the Kajetans build in 1691-1717 following the plans of J.
B. Mathey and G. Santini. Many of the burger´s houses
have the original Prague orientation "housemarks",
with represent a distinctive part of the history of Czech paintings. SHOW

ACCOMMODATION: The
hotel offers accommodation in two to four-bed apartments with
a private bathroom, satellite TV, direct dial telephones,
mini-bar, and a safe. |
HOTEL AMENITIES & SERVICES: The
house, in which CLUB RESTAURANT & BAR NERUDOVKA is situated,
was built in the 14th century. Already in the 16th century the
first culinary establishment could be found here - the pub "U
Strahovské Brány" or "At the Strahov
Gate" From that time the interiors underwent a complete
reconstruction and the offer of provided services also somewhat
expanded.
Today
the total capacity of the restaurant is 130 for sitting, further
visitors can count on one of the two bars. For smaller groups
up to 20 persons, we have a discreet drawing-room, where, on
request, specialities from the establishment´s chef are
served and also several kinds of fondue.
In
addition to variety of coffees, teas, mixed drinks and beers,
we offer excellent bohemian and international meals that you
enjoy with a glass of wine imported from famous wine areas.

not forget visit our WINE CLUB NERUDOVKA in the cellar dating
from the 18th century. In its traditional atmosphere we offer
gastronomic delicacies and many sorts of wine from our wine
cellars. In our offer we have wines from Chile, South America,
France, Spain and not least the excellent wines from South Moravia. |
