LOCATION

The inn is set in idyllic surroundings between Hjerl Hede and Holstebro. The restaurant provides a panoramic view over Borbjerg Mølle Lake, and we offer waiter service at the outdoor tables by the millpond.

Our restaurant is famous for its quality and variety, and we also serve vegetarian dishes, homemade bread and cakes.
The old visitors' stables have been converted into 22 rooms for our guests. Local attractions include nature trails, the old water mill and the mill museum.

Activities on offer at the inn include boat hire, a 9-hole golf course, petanque-course, billiards, table tennis, darts and angling. ACCOMMODATION

Do you like to spend some days in idyllic and peaceful surroundings - in the middle of a wonderful nature. - And to wake up to the sound of birds singing and the flow of the old water mill leading the water from the millpond to the Hellegård Å (a brook).Then Borbjerg Mølle Kro is the place for you to visit.

The rooms, which are converted in the old visitors’ stables, are of different sizes, but all of them are nice and have atmosphere.

Most of the rooms have telephone and TV, and we also have rooms with antique furniture. Many of the rooms have views of the meadow and the small brook.

Our romantic rooms are also being used for newly married couples on their wedding night. Then we offer free champagne to celebrate the event.

Our kitchen offers quality and big variation - we cook for both persons who have special wishes and for the ones who just want the good ordinary dinner. Both from the Pyramide-room and in most of the other conference- and partyrooms there is a beautiful view to the millpond.

When the weather allows it, we serve both in the patio and in the garden - next to the pond. The good old mill traditions consisting of hospitality and the excellent food and drink are still very important for us at Borbjerg Mølle, and we still bake our own bread to keep the homemade specialities alive. Every Sunday afternoon we invite to our very popular taffel with many different kinds of homemade cookies and of course coffee and tea. On that day it is self-service so you can choose what ever you want.

The a-la-carte restaurant has a exciting selection which always fits to the season and a possible event. Every time made by careful hand and respect for the raw material.

Our menu card offers vegetarian dishes, traditionel courses from the old mill, courses with international inspiration and of courses from the modern Danish kitchen.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. we offer small collations - lunch and small courses. Every month we create a new menu of the month inspired of the time of year and international influence.
