One
hundred years after its establishment Hotel Corona welcomes
its guests to fully modern facilities. In 1994 a thorough
renovation was completed, and all 57 rooms now feature
private bathrooms en suite, colour TV and telephone.
The comprehensive renovation job is the work of Aksel
and Jeanette Andersen, who took over the hotel in 1989.
Thay have since managed to establishe Hotel Corona as
a high-quality, low-priced hotel offering its guests
a high level of personal service, which makes them come
back again and again.
First and foremost the hotel aims at commercial travellers,
travelling fitters, and visitors to the many fairs and
exhibitions, but many tourists also find their way to
the hotel in Skolegade.
To ensure a good start to the day, the guests at Hotel
Corona are offered breakfast. But with approximately
15 restaurants within a distance of 200 metres the owners
of Hotel Corona has decided not to have their own kitchen.
The hotel's guests therefore have to dine in town.
However, receptions, weddings, and other functions where
meals are served can also be catered for.
Despite its location in the centre of Herning, Hotel
Corona is easy to find for out of town guests and the
hotel has ample parking facilities. |
