LOCATION: Built
at the end of the last century, the Le Meridien Russell London is
one of London's most impressive Victorian buildings with many outstanding
architectural features. It was architect Fitzroy Doll's most remarkable
work, inspired by the engravings of the Chateau de Madrid which
once stood in the Bois de Boulogne. All bedrooms are recently refurbished,
with the additional benefit of luxury Ambassador Rooms which are
lavished with five star furnishings and facilities.
Le Meridien Russell London is ideally located in the heart of Bloomsbury,
right in the heart of London on the border between the West-End
and the City. Situated just minutes from the hustle and bustle of
the West End, 'Theatre-land' and Oxford Street shopping yet in the
immediate home place of The British Museum, British Library with
"Peter Pan" and Charles Dickens House (across the Road).
Underground Station : Russell Square Underground Station on the
Piccadilly Line, direct to Heathrow Airport in 50 minutes, is 1

ACCOMMODATION: Standard
- these rooms are decorated in a classic style available with
single, double or twin beds. All rooms have tea and coffee
making facilities, iron and ironing board, trouser press,
modem points and air conditioning.
Executive
- Spacious and luxurious, decorated in a traditional style.
Mostly king bedded, there are a few with two double beds (available
on a request basis). These rooms are larger than standard,
but have the same amenities.
Art
+ Tech - these rooms are completely refurbished in a contemporary
style and provide the ultimate in luxury accommodation and
the latest technology. Available in single or double, all
rooms have climate controlled air conditioning, specially
designed beds and 42 inch plasma screen televisions. All bathrooms
have either a free standing shower tower or bath which incorporates
a comfortable area for showering. The rooms include a mini-fridge
with complimentary mineral water, tea and coffee making facilities,
data point, trouser press, iron and ironing board and hairdryer.
Suites
- all suites have either Ambassador or Art + Tech features,
but are more spacious with a comfortable seating area and
an individually designed bathroom.

hotel's event portfolio offers 17 air-conditioned conference
and banqueting rooms catering for up to 450 people. The newly
refurbished Woburn Suite, with a maximum capacity of 450 people,
offers the most updated lighting, sound and presentation facilities.
With the traditional Victorian-style Wharncliffe Suite adjacent
to the Woburn, the hotel offers the ideal setting for product
launches, exhibitions and dinner dances. Most
rooms feature a multimedia wall with interactive screen, linked
