HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: City Hotel Portus is located in the centre of Tallinn and offers its guests 107 rooms decorated in joyful colours and featuring warm, environmentally-friendly cork floors. The rooms include everything you would expect from a reasonable hotel. To the guests of City Hotel Portus we offer parking in the underground heated car park, so that your car can also stay overnight safely. Each room includes a satellite TV, shower and WC and WiFi wireless Internet access together with a direct-dial phone. Most of the rooms have been fitted with an air-conditioner. In the hotel, there are also rooms for the disabled, for non-smokers and for people with allergies – this way, all our guests can enjoy a good night’s sleep.

HOTEL FACILITIES: On the 1st floor of City Hotel Portus, you will find the cosy Café Retro which seats 80 and has a unique interior. Those who appreciate simple and delicious cooking, served in a relaxed atmosphere, will enjoy trying the lunch and dinner dishes at the café. The timeless and cheerful styles of rock and retro dominate in the interior decoration and in the choice of music at the café, located in Tallinn city centre. In the summer, guests can also enjoy their coffee and pastries out on a terrace. In the morning, Café Retro serves the hotel guests a delicious buffet breakfast. On weekdays, be sure to ask for the affordable lunch menu popular for its dishes which are inspired by Estonian cuisine.

There is a conference centre on the 5th floor of City Hotel Portus. The centre is an excellent venue for organizing various events as it comprises three seminar rooms separated with partition walls. All the rooms have modern equipment, high-quality air-conditioning and ventilation and, of course, free wireless Internet access. The rooms can be joined to hold events for up to 150 people.

For conference participants, we offer a wide choice of coffee breaks and snacks and, of course, the opportunity to have lunch and dinner in the rooms of the conference centre or at the Café Retro on the 1st floor.

The sauna of City Hotel Portus can accommodate up to 20 people. Both smaller and bigger groups of friends are guaranteed to enjoy their sauna experience. There are separate changing and washing rooms for men and women to ensure a sufficient level of privacy. At the cosy sauna of City Hotel Portus, guests can choose between a Finnish-type sauna and steam bathing; naturally, you can also relax in a modern Jacuzzi. The sauna of City Hotel Portus can be found on the 5th floor of the hotel, offering a wonderful view of the Old Town of Tallinn. The front room of the sauna serves as a party room; it includes an LCD TV. Groups of people can relax here while enjoying the view of the glowing Old Town as well as the food ordered from Café Retro.

The sauna can be booked by calling the hotel reception at 680 6600. The sauna is open daily, from 08:00 to 23:00. The minimum booking time is for two hours.
