HOTEL DESCRIPTION: The Hotel Skane is a small, cozy tourist-class hotel on the edge of Tallinn’s Old Town. We pride ourselves on offering our guests a caring, personal style of service, ensuring that your first visit to Hotel Skåne certainly won’t be the last. Our hotel was built at the end of the 19th century, when it was named the “Grand Hotel” – one of the first of its kind in Tallinn. The building was reconstructed in the 1920’s, playing host to an hotel and a restaurant / cocktail bar right up until 1940. The building miraculously survived the bombardment of March 9, 1944, when 53% of the residential areas of Tallinn were destroyed. The Hotel Skåne was last fully renovated in 2003.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: The hotel has 38 differently sized rooms. There are six rooms which can be equipped with an extra bed if necessary. Every guestroom has its own bathroom with toilet and shower, and all rooms feature a TV and telephone. Hotel Skane offers rooms for non-smokers and for guests suffering allergies. The hotel has its own WIFI system. Free internet access in the lobby for all hotel guests is also part of our service.
HOTEL FACILITIES: RESTAURANT: We offer a buffet-style breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant every morning. We are also happy to organize lunches or dinners for larger groups, on request. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcoholic refreshments can be ordered in the lobby 24 hours a day.
