HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Situated in the heart of the world’s smallest capital, within walking distance of the harbour and the historical part of town, Hotel Hafnia is the perfect setting for your stay. Within walking distance you will find local attractions, tourist information centre, shops and nightlife. From the hotel’s roof terrace, there is a unique panoramic view over the whole town and harbour. The Airport Shuttle provides transportation to and from the hotel. Payment is to be settled directly with the driver, and it will stop right outside the front door of the Hotel. Following current awareness, no smoking is allowed in the hotel. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: At Hotel Hafnia we have 38 single rooms, 18 double rooms and 1 suite. It is possible to get an extra bed in the room if needed. All rooms are equipped with toilet/shower, satellite-TV, radio, hair dryer, minibar and telephone with voice-mail and wireless internet. Our rooms are regularly refurbished, modernized, cosy and are kept in subdued colours. We have renovated our 57 rooms during past few years. HOTEL FACILITIES: Restaurant Hafnia: Our restaurant is located on the first floor of Hotel Hafnia overlooking the main street. We are well known for our international cuisine, offering a variety of international courses as well as Faroese specialities, prepared and served by internationally trained chefs and restaurant staff. We are more than happy to assist you, and help you decide on a wine to compliment your order. We recommend that our guests reserve a table in advance and kindly let us know if there are any special requests for your dinner party. Restaurant Hafnia is a non smoking restaurant. Banquet Our function rooms are well suited for private parties. Whether you wish to invite your guests for a light meal, a delightful lunch or a luxurious dinner, it is all possible. We have prepared some menu suggestions from which you can compose your own menu. Of course, we are more then happy to discuss other courses with you should you wish to do so. Banquet menus are intended for guests who wish to order the same menu – children may choose from their own menu. Meetings and Conferences: Hotel Hafnia is the perfect setting for meetings and conferences for up to 100 people. We have function rooms of different sizes to suit all needs, as well as the audio-visual and IT equipment to match your demand. We will provide any food and beverages you may need. Great versatility and agility on the part of the staff ensure you a smoothly run conference and a successful meeting. The Hafnia Lounge Hafnia Lounge is furnished to offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere in good company. Or you can just relax and maybe challenge the bartender to a game of chess. At the bar you can order beverages, coffee and cake. For entertainment we have a satellite-TV with BBC, CNN and other channels, live transmission from The Premier League. |
