LITERATURE ABOUT THE FAROES
ART
The inspiration for Faroese art has come originally from the strength and unspoilt nature of the country and from the distinctive Faroese culture; but it has developed over the years along the same lines as other international art forms. This can be seen in the selection of art books which can be obtained in several languages. Here are some examples:
