HOTEL DESCRIPTION: The youth hostel «Gjáargarður» is a newer building in the village of Gjógv. The top floor is arranged like the old Faroese houses, with a «Roykstova» combined kitchen and family room, and box beds. (Very suitable for groups of young people). Besides these are 10 family rooms.

The youth hostel is also suitable for disabled persons, with easy access for wheelchairs to use all 4 floors. When arriving at Gjógv, the youth hostel will be the first building you can see, easily recognisable with its grass-grown roof, and prominent position in the village.
