| HOTEL DESCRIPTION |

This
nine-story Hotel Europaischer Hof Hamburg opposite the Hauptbahnhof
still has the chapel that served its original inhabitants, an order
of Catholic nuns, when it was built back in 1960. Now run by the
Sturzer family, the establishment offers simple but clean accommodations,
some of which overlook an inner courtyard. Most rooms have some
built-in furniture; all have double-glazed windows for soundproofing. |

The
spacious double rooms in the Comfort-Category are also bookable
for single use and are provided additional with fax and laptop
jacks, safe, writing-desk and are comfortable furnished with
marble bath. The modern furnished and bright rooms in our
Standard-Plus-Category are equipped additionally with mobile
phones.
The smaller rooms in the Standard-Category are provided as
all rooms with cable-TV, minibar, self-dial-phone and with
bath/shower. Children are always free of charge in the room
of the parents up to 12 years. The
above mentioned room rates include our rich breakfast buffet
and free use of our sports- and recreation-center with swimming-pool,
whirlpool, water-slide, sauna and sqash-court. Only for massages,
the use of the solariums and the golf-simulator a contribution
is required. |

The
highlight in our sports-and-leisure centre with seven floors
is the 150-metre-water-slide. The large swimming pool with
jet streams, water massage, bumbling seats (29°C) and
whirl pool (36°C) offers a high degree of comfort. A sauna-floor
with two Finnish-saunas (70°C & 90°C), a bio-sauna
(60°C) and a roman steam bath is at your disposal daily
from 03.00 p.m. Solarium, therapeutic massage, a wide range
of fitneß-equipment, squashcourt and a golfsimulator
completes the wide range of services offered.
The
entrance to the "EURO-Therme" and our bistro is
located on the third floor. Here you can obtain complete information
on the facilities and make your personal booking for massage,
squash or solarium. Except for the solarium, the golf simulator
and massages, absolutely everything is included in the price
of your room. |
DINING & BARS: The
antique ceiling and panelled walls in this completely in
a bright coulour sheme renovated restaurant create a warm
ambience. We recommend our delicious regional specialities,
our special gourmet sample portions and appetizing snacks.
For dining in a individual restaurant with a cosy atmosphere,
the "NEWPORT" is the right place.The restaurant
"NEWPORT" accomodates up to 60 person.
The
decor of our "Bürgerstuben" restaurant reflects
a light Italian motif. Marble floors, rattan furniture and
pastel colours creat a comfotable, elegant atmosphere. This
is the perfect setting for a luncheon, a full-course dinner
or a light meal before or after the theatre. Special dishes
and warm breakfast items are prepared in front of the eyes
of our guests in our sophisticated open kitchen featuring
induction cooking technology.
Our
"Flaggenbar" is a popular place to end the day
or start the evening. Guests gather here to chat, to wind
up business talk or to simply relax over a drink and enjoy
the subdued piano-music in the background. And of course,
the "Flaggenbar" is ideal for meetings with friends.
