|
The
Kempinski Hotel & Congress Centre "Rotes Ross"
offers a total of 89 rooms and suites on 5 floors, 2 of which
are non-smoker floors. All rooms are equipped with telephone,
television with cable- and pay TV, a room safe and a mini-bar.
Wireless-Lan is available from first to third floors. In our
bathrooms you will find a hairdryer and separate backlit vanity
mirror.
Standard Category
The rooms in the standard category are located in the traditional
part of the hotel behind the lovingly restored facade, mainly
on the first to third floors. They are classically furnished
and have approximately 25 sqm, most rooms have high ceilings
and a view of the quiet pedestrian zone of the town, of the
inner courtyard or towards the multi-storey car park of the
Congress Centre. The modern bathrooms decorated with lightly
coloured Italian marble have a shower on the first and second
floors and a bathtub in the rooms on the third and fourth
floors.
Superior Category
The large double rooms are approximately 35 sqm in size. Like
all other rooms they can be booked in single or double occupancy.
Situated mostly in the traditional part of the hotel they
are also furnished in a classical style with settee, armchairs
and a secretary. The colour of the furniture is a shade of
cherry tree with wooden inlays in the bedside tables. In addition,
some of the rooms on the upper floors offer a balcony, which
allows a view of the pedestrian zone, the Tower Leipziger
Turm and the remains of the historical town wall dated back
to the Middle Ages. All bathrooms in superior category have
a bathtub in which you can relax and take a luxurious bath.
One of the rooms in this category is suitable for handicapped
guests and equipped with a separate walk in shower and an
emergency call system.
Deluxe Category
The luxurious, spacious deluxe rooms are situated in the main
building as well as in the extension to the main building
from the year 2000. Their size is approximately 40 sqm which
offers enough space for an additional sitting area and a desk.
The airy bathrooms have their own bathtub and again meticulously
crafted Italian marble. The marble’s typical beauty
can be especially enjoyed thanks to the daylight from a window
that most of the bathrooms in Deluxe Category offer.
Junior
Suite
The
large and well-lit junior suites with luxurious sleeping,
living and working areas are equipped with a desk and a three-piece
couch with a matching marble table.
Some
of the junior suites have an elegant dining table made of
glass and on the upper levels this table is positioned close
to the door to the balcony. The modern bathrooms are also
decorated in Italian marble with a friendly, light colour.
Suite
The
large, well-lit suites of approximately 60 sqm in size have
separate living and sleeping rooms with large windows and
a balcony with a view of the nearby Congress Centre and the
city centre of Halle. The suites are tastefully decorated
with inlays in the furniture, a large marble coffee table,
a beautifully adorned, round dining table with a glass table
top. The elegant bathrooms decorated in Italian marble each
have two washbasins and a bathtub.
The Grand Suite
This
suite is the largest and most luxurious room in the hotel
with a size of approximately 80 sqm. It offers an airy living
and working area with a balcony, a desk with modem connection,
an elegant and cosy three-piece leather couch and a wide-screen
television.
A
large cupboard, a dining table and a stylish bar with its
own ice compartment round off the living area. The separate
bedroom is equipped with its own air conditioning, a second
television set and a large wardrobe.
The
stylish, luxurious bathroom is impressive in its size and
the meticulousness of the craftsmanship of brown, Italian

DININGS & BARS:
In 2002 with its new restaurant "Kleines Ross", the
traditional "Rote Ross" on Leipziger Strasse has
once again become one of the top culinary addresses in Halle.
The walk from the Leipziger Strasse through the Kempinski
Hotel lobby leads you past the reception desk and the fascinating
underwater world of the 2,500 litre seawater aquarium.
Travelling by car you will arrive via the K & K multi-storey
car park via level P1 from Franckestrasse 1. Both ways will
lead you directly into the Kempinski hotel lobby, Halle's
largest living room with a real fireplace, library, conservatory
and summer terrace.
Including the conservatory the Kempinski Restaurant “Kleines
Ross” provides 62 seats and further 30 seats on the
summer terrace where you can enjoy the local and international
specialities prepared à la minute in our kitchen.
In the afternoon you might take pleasure in a freshly brewed
cup of tea or coffee in one of the many comfortable armchairs
around the cosy fireplace under the glass cupola of the hotel
lobby with a view of the Mediterranean style painting of the
inner facade of the courtyard. The library offers an additional
place to retreat to and a variety of books from prose writing
to non-fiction books.
In the evening the hotel bar "Rosstränke" invites
you to enjoy an exotic cocktail or one of our local wines
from the most northern wine growing area in Europe, Saale-Unstrut.
Alternatively we offer a wide selection of international wines.
Most parts of this area are accessible with wheelchairs and
a toilet suitable for wheelchair access is available in the
hotel lobby. For restaurant assistance is given.
The restaurant "Kleines Ross" and its dark wooden
colours with its seating capacity of 30 provides the perfect
setting for spending an evening drinking fine wine and sampling
excellent cuisine.
The kitchen will entice your palette with regional and international
specialities with Mediterranean flair.The
neighbouring conservatory with a unique view of the stars
in the ceiling offers as well access to the summer terrace.
