LOCATION:
The
Morrison is one of the most luxurious and visually stunning hotels
in Europe. Designers Douglas Wallace and fashion dynamo, John
Rocha, have created a masterpiece by incorporating the 18th century
facade of a Georgian townhouse alongside a thoroughly modern south-facing

The interior is a mix of high ceilings with pale white walls,
stone floors and beautiful grey hand crafted Irish carpets. The
hotel is filled with original art by artist Clea Van der Grjin.
PLACES OF INTEREST:
One
of the best locations in Dublin, the Morrison is located right
in the heart of the city and overlooking the River Liffey. Dublin's
cultural quarter Temple Bar, renowned for its restaurants and
night entertainment is a two minute walk via the Millennium Bridge.
The Morrison is on the North Quays close to the City's Financial
Services Centre at Customs House Quay. The hotel is also within
close proximity to many of Dublin's restaurants, theatres, art
galleries and museums. The

ACCOMMODATION:
Superior
Room - The Morrison has 84 of the most stylish and comfortable
rooms in the city. Soothingly monochromatic in black, chocolate
and cream, each room is a tranquil haven of understated luxury,
from the Frette white linen and velvet painted throws to the
state-of-the-art sound systems.
The bathrooms are a combination of lime-stone floors, mosaic
tiles, with luscious fragrant products. All rooms are equipped
with television, VCR, modem connection, 2 telephone lines,
voice mail facility, private bar and safe.
Georgian Rooms - There are three mini-suites located in the
original Georgian part of the building and overlooking the
River Liffey.
The
rooms have teak floors, luxury furnishing, hand painted
throws and cushions, walk in shower, double sinks and freshflowers.
Superior
Suite - The three luxury suites with a sliding partition wall
are perfect for a private dinner or for that special occasion.
The decor is strikingly monochromatic, black wood furnishings,
dark brown drapes and creamy white walls provide for maximum
contrast.
The
Penthouse - offers a giant-sized sunken jacuzzi bath, surrounded
by Rocha candles, steamroom and sauna, a huge frosted TV screen
visible on two sides from both bed and bath. A state-of-the-art
sound system, completes the experience.
Chic-acid
washed red, yellow and green velvet throws provide a splash
of colour in the brown and cream designed room.With its panoramic
views of the River Liffey below, the Penthouse offers total
luxury, privacy, and seclusion.

RESTAURANT & BAR:
At
Halo the food is artfully presented by Chef Jean-Michel
Poulot. Jean-Michel's philosophy is to work with the finest
of Irish ingredients, respecting the natural flavours
through careful preparation, using only fresh herbs and
spices that enhance the natural flavour of the main ingredients.
A perfect marriage and balance.
The
Café Bar is set in the front of the hotel and flooded
with natural light. The place to do tea, or select a dish
from our light café bar menu pre and post theatre
or even to relax and play chess.
The
Morrison Bar with large open windows overlooking the River
Liffey is a calm understatement during the day.
In the evening, it is a very popular meeting place for
Dublin's glossiest and most glamorous, not only for drinks,
but meetings or light dining. The perfect location for
relaxing over a cocktail, or after work drink.
Lobo,
the Capital's hotspot is a discovery. A late night bar
open until 3.00am on Friday and Saturday night, during
the day and on other evenings, this is available for private
hire up to 300 people.
There are various areas set on different levels, a more
formal dining area, sofas for lounging, not to mention
the gleaming golden gong and an Africanesque head handcrafted
by sculptor Eoin Byrne.
Room Dimensions : 18.4m in length by 17.0m in width
Room
service is available nightly until 3.00am. Select dishes
are offered from the Halo restaurant menu between 7.00pm
to 11.00pm.
MEETINGS :
Lobo
has a private club feel and is available for exclusive
use from Monday to Thursday inclusive. It is an ideal
venue for product launches and large receptions. It caters
for up to 300 people for a reception.
Lobo also provides guests with an alternative conference
venue. Lobo is fully air-conditioned and equipped with
isdn lines and dataports and CD player.
The Gardenroom, is a split-level room with a Zen Garden
and is available for private hire. It is also perfect
for private cocktail parties for up to 50 people or for
a meeting of 22 theatre style or 18 boardroom style.
The
Boardroom, a south-facing room overlooking the river Liffey,
incorporates the Georgian wing of the Hotel. The room
is naturally illuminated and fully air-conditioned. It
is equipped with isdn access, data port, telephone and
CD player.
