Owned by the Fiorentino family since 1834, and still operated by its descendents living in Sorrento, the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria is poised where it is said one of the villas of the Roman Emperor Augustus once stood. The hotel is a historic Grand Hotel made up of three different buildings built between 1834 and 1880. Thanks to this unique location, the hotel offers a variety of different room types.
Nearly all the rooms have a veranda or terrace overlooking either the Gulf of Naples or the orange orchard surrounding the hotel.

The hotel is located in the town centre of Sorrento on the cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples. The building is secluded from the main square by private gardens with citrus groves. Guests pass through the main gate and through the gardens to find the Hotel right on the seafront of Sorrento.
